I think they must be dog years, although, really, it's all a blur. BlackCherry Digital Media Inc. turned five today. There are many natural laws in the world and it would seem, maybe even some in business. When you start everyone says, if you get to three years, you will get to five and if you get to five you will get to ten. The funny thing is, it really does appear to be true.

Another commonly held belief in the business world is no one will help you until you get to five years. While at times it has been tough, sometimes brutal, this is one I can't agree with. There have been many people who have helped us make it through the first five years: our clients, our bankers, our families and our friends. Most importantly though it's been the commitment and dedication of the employees who have weathered the tough times and celebrated the good while always creating great and inspiring work.

I'd like to thank everyone who has made the first five years a success. There are amazing and exciting things in the works for BlackCherry and if the first 5 years are any indication, the next five should be a hoot.
