BlackCherry worked with partners, The Mushkegowuk Cree, Carleton University, Neh Naak Ko and Pinegrove Productions to create a rich content site. The goal of this project was to reconnect Cree youth living in northern Ontario with their cultural history, specifically the history surrounding the signing of Treaty 9.

The site includes an in depth essay by partner Stan Louttit, video interviews with elders and the prototype of an educational Role Playing Game. The game is a unique combination of education and entertainment that aims to reach youth through one of their most desirable media, online gaming. Currently just a prototype the game will eventually contain six mini games. By completing each game the players will obtain another piece of the self-governance puzzle.

The current site was funded by the Inukshuk Fund. The site and game will be expanding over the coming year.
